What is Statly Trend Finder?
Trend Finder is the feed in the Statly web app that shows the videos and posts from the public Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and X accounts in your niches. It compares each one with its own account’s usual results, so the standouts are easy to spot.
How does Trend Finder know a video took off today?
Statly compares the views a video gained in the last day with how many views that account’s videos usually gain at the same age. A video is marked Took off today when it passes 2× its account’s pace today and had not done so the day before, based on its last two daily scans.
What counts as a breakout video?
A breakout is a video with at least 1.5× its profile’s median views.
Can I see which sounds are working in my niche?
Yes. The Sounds view lists the sounds used across the whole niche in the last 30 days, with the number of videos, total views and outliers for each sound.
How often is Trend Finder updated?
Active accounts are scanned daily at the local ready-by time you choose. Accounts quiet for 14 days or more are checked weekly. The default scan window is the last 30 days, with 7- and 14-day options in Settings.
